Robert and Maureen will be collecting for Marie Curie Cancer Care, on Christmas Eve, just near the Brunswick Centre in Scarborough. Please do come along and have a chat, but most of all give generously to this very special cause. We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.
The Whitby Coast and Moors Conservative Branch are holding their Christmas Buffet Lunch at the Conservative Club, Whitby. Robert is looking forward to meeting up with friends, and enjoying the Christmas festivities! For more details contact Joe Plant on Whitby 821159.
This is the start to Christmas. It really is a Spectacular evening, with super entertinment from local schools. The event is held in the Spa Grand Hall, Scarborough. Do go along if you enjoy a good Christmas Carol
Parliament is in recess from Wednesday 13th November to Friday 15th November. In that time Robert is attending association events and also on the Thursday and Friday he has appointments with constituents. He will be visiting local businesses in Scarborough, and making a visit to Scarborough Sixth Form College, for a question and answer session on a Business Study Course.
Robert is looking forward to meeting members of the Conservative Association at the Magpie Cafe, he is also looking forward to sampling the famous Magpie fish and chips! This is a regular event held by the Whitby Coast and Moors Branch.
Robert will be attending the Military Dinner at the Scarborough Spa on Friday 8th November. A Night Before The Colours supports local charities including, The Yorkshire Regiment Benevolent Fund, The Royal British Legion, SSAFA, FAB, RNLI and The Cambridge Centre.
Robert and Maureen will be attending the Remembrance Day Service in Scarborough, on Sunday 10th November at the War Memorial at Olivers Mount. Robert will place a wreath in memory of all those who have fought for our country.Later that day Robert and his wife Maureen will also attend the Remembrance Sevice in Whitby. This takes place at 2.30 in St Mary's Parish Church.
