Robert has received a joint letter from the Department for International Trade and Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs reinforcing that the 'UK Government will not compromise' on food standards in any trade negotiation.

COVID-19: update to Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme

The Government has announced that the Job Retention Scheme will be extended for four months, until the end of October.  Until the end of July, there will be no changes to the scheme whatsoever.

VE Day plea for people to stay safe and celebrate at home.

The Coronavirus lockdown means that instead of the planned public events people have to get creative and find ways to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day in their home or garden.
